Mission Statement
The Mahaska County Secondary Road Department strives to provide and maintain the safest and highest quality network of roads and bridges possible with our resources.The Secondary Road Department is responsible for construction and maintenance for all county roadways and bridges. The Mahaska County road system consists of 126 miles of paved roads, 813 granular surfaced roads, 31 miles of dirt roadways, and 223 bridges.
